A super simple recipe that makes green beans taste so much better! Including prep time, this recipe does not take more than 10 minutes.
Ingredients:
300G green beans (cut into 2–3-inch pieces and sliced through the middle exposing the seeds)
2 ½ tbsp of unsalted butter (vegan)
3 garlic cloves finely sliced (approx. 3 tbsp)
1 large onion sliced lengthwise (approx. 1 ½ cups)
3 green chilies sliced lengthwise (remove seeds if you don’t want the heat from the chili)
1 ½ tsp of salt
2 tsp of pepper
¼ tsp of turmeric
Directions:
1: Add in 2 ½ tbsp of butter into a large nonstick skillet. AS the butter starts melting, add garlic and onions and sauté for a couple of minutes.
2: Next, add in the green chilies and the rest of the spices (salt, pepper, turmeric) and keep stirring until all the ingredients are combined well.
3: Finally, add in the green beans and mix it well until all the ingredients are combined well. Keep stirring for around 2 minutes and remove from heat immediately.
4: Transfer to a plate immediately to prevent it from overcooking.
