If broccoli is not one of your favorite vegetables to eat, this recipe just might make you change your mind! The basic ingredients along with a cube of bouillon takes this recipe to the next level. Hopefully it’ll win your hearts the same way it did of mine
Ingredients:
200G BROCCOLI
2 CUPS HOT WATER
2 ½ TBSP BUTTER
4 GARLIC CLOVES THINLY SLICED
1 CUP OF ONIONS THINLY SLICED (APPROX. HALF AN ONION)
3 GREEN CHILLIES SPLIT IN HALF
2 SMALL CUBES OF BOUILLON
1 TSP PEPPER
¼ TSP OF TURMERIC
Directions:
1: Chop the broccoli into medium-sized florets.
2: Add 2 cups of boiling water (or enough to cover) to the chopped broccoli for 1-2 minutes and drain all the water to prevent it from being overcooked.
3: Onto a frying pan, add 2 ½ tbsp of butter, and let it melt. As it melts, add 4 garlic cloves and 1 cup of onions thinly sliced into the pan and stir it around for about 1 minute before adding the spices.
4:Then add the 1 tsp of pepper, ¼ tsp of turmeric, and the 2 small cubes of bouillon into the pan and mix well until all the ingredients in the pan are incorporated well. Then add the chilies and stir well for another 2 minutes.
5:Add the broccoli to the onion mixture and stir-fry for about one and a half minutes in medium heat and remove from pan immediately.
